The fine mesh paper side with extra support shute yarns ensures good fiber retention, while the sixteen shed wear side weave provides good service life. Very high drainage capacity is achieved without compromising sheet formation quality. The machine side features a longer CD crimp with medium diameter yarns that increases wear yarn mass and enhances abrasion resistance. This robust construction maintains structural integrity under high MD tension and prevents CD ridging. This fabric is ideally suited for printing and writing papers and newsprint applications.
